Wisdom in Action Series

Living in Peace:
The Art of Living in a World in Flux
It can be hard to feel peace in today’s world. The constant busyness of our lives, global unrest, the pressure of opinions, and the tension between people can leave us feeling anxious, reactive, or disconnected. This course is an invitation to reclaim your inner peace—not by escaping life, but by meeting it with wisdom and clarity.
We begin by exploring how our inner narratives shape our perception of the world, and how those perceptions give rise to unsettling mental reactions and emotions like anger, frustration, worry, judgment, and resistance. Together, we’ll examine what truly robs us of peace—and how to shift our perspective and approach so that peace becomes accessible, even in the midst of challenge. We’ll explore how to meet the world as it is—while staying empowered to change it for the better.
Throughout the course, you’ll be guided through accessible yet profound meditation practices that help you experientially connect with the peace that already lives within you. You’ll also engage in a series of reflective exercises designed to deepen your understanding and bring insight into your everyday life.
No prior experience in meditation or self-reflection is required—just a willingness to explore new ways of seeing the world and yourself.
This course is not about detaching from life. It’s about learning how to meet the world—and manage its impact on your mind—so that peace is not something you chase, but something you carry with you and share with others.
This course runs over 7 weeks. Each week includes a live 90-minute interactive webinar with Syd, along with practical exercises to explore during the week.
Life can get busy, so if you’re unable to attend one or two of the live sessions, you’ll receive a recording summarising the key points from the webinar, along with the weekly exercises. These recordings are also great for refreshing your memory throughout the course. That said, if you expect to miss more than two live webinars, it may be best to wait and book the course at a later time when you can engage more fully.
Full rate of course is £180 and is being offered at a significantly reduced rate for Oct-Dec cohort as the second offering of the course.

From Gentle Presence to Courageous Action:
The Art of Living from Within
We are always acting, responding and reacting. But how grounded, how present do we remain as we engage in life? To what extent can we respond consciously from a place of compassion and courage without getting pulled into the dramas of others, or getting triggered by our own emotional patterns?
In this 7- week live online course course we explore how to live inside out. We come to realise that strength is not a performative strength that masks fear and boost our ego, but the quiet power that arises from inner clarity and remaining connected to ourselves. We will see gentleness and strength are two sides of the same coin.
We will explore more deeply what love, compassion and courage are and how they show up in our actions. Life is constantly flowing. We will discuss how presence allows us to be adaptable and move effortlessly with the flow of life. Through reflection, self-enquiry, embodiment, and accessible practices, you’ll begin to reframe your relationship to strength, gentleness and action.
By the end of the course, you’ll be empowered to move through the world with integrity—with alignment of your intentions, thoughts and action rooted in presence.
A gentle yet strong presence. Courageous yet compassionate action. A strength that is not forced. A way of living that begins from within.

Transformational Philosophy Series

Unmasking the Self:
In Search of Freedom and Happiness
Who are you, really?
When you say “I am this” or “I am that,” what is the I referring to? And how does your sense of self shape your experience of freedom and happiness?
In one form or another, we all long for happiness, freedom, peace, and love. Yet how we seek these depends on the way we see ourselves and the world around us which in turn drive our behaviour, and shape our experience of life. Sometimes, we chase something we believe will bring us joy—only to find stress, conflict, or disappointment along the way.
This 7- week online course invites you to explore the deeper structure of identity. You’ll reflect on how your sense of self has been formed through personal stories, social conditioning, and emotional patterns—and begin to sense what lies beyond those layers.
You’ll also explore how the basic human longings for meaning, connection, and peace can be transformed by a shift in self-understanding. As your inner narrative shifts, your relationship with life shifts too—opening the door to new possibilities for happiness and freedom that once felt out of reach.
This is not just a conceptual or merely philosophical exploration. It is a grounded, experiential inquiry guided into identity and the deeper “I” through self-reflection, coaching meditation, and open dialogue. You’ll learn to test insights in the living context of your own experience and gain clarity that goes beyond theory.

Consciousness:
Exploring the Foundation of Life and Our Experience
Have you ever stopped to ask—what is life? What is this world and how we experience it? These are questions behind all questions.
One thing is certain: without consciousness, we wouldn’t be aware of anything at all. Our entire experience of living depends on being conscious. Yet, for something so central, consciousness remains one of the most mysterious phenomena in existence. For centuries western Philosophers and more recently scientists have wrestled with it, trying to offer an explanation of what it is and how it works and yet this struggle has yet to produce a remotely satisfying explanation.
This course invites you into a reflective and experiential exploration of consciousness—both as the basis of your inner life and, perhaps, as the fabric of the world itself. We’ll draw from rich Eastern philosophical traditions, particularly those that view consciousness as the primary force in the universe. Alongside this, we’ll engage with Western philosophical and scientific perspectives to deepen the inquiry. But this is not an abstract or intellectual exercise. What we’re exploring has direct implications for how you see yourself, others, and the meaning and purpose of life.
Whether you believe the world is purely physical or suspect there’s more to reality than matter, your worldview shapes your identity, your values, and how you lead your life. This course is an invitation to examine those beliefs—and to open to new possibilities.
You’ll explore how your assumptions about the nature of reality impact your everyday choices, emotional patterns, and sense of self. You’ll engage in meditative inquiry, reflective exercises, and guided perception work to directly examine your experience and loosen the grip of inherited narratives.
Even for those who already hold a particular view of consciousness, this journey offers something deeper: the opportunity to move beyond conceptual belief into direct experience and enquiry.
This course doesn’t require you to subscribe to any particular philosophy. It simply invites you to stay open—to question, to reflect, and to see for yourself. In doing so, you may uncover perspectives that challenge mainstream narratives, reveal deeper dimensions of reality, and unlock a greater sense of meaning in your own life.
You don’t need to be a philosopher to explore the nature of consciousness. You only need to be alive—and willing to look into the very foundation of your own life.
